Savannah College of Art and Design
The Savannah College of Art and Design is a private, nonprofit, accredited university offering more than 100 academic degree programs across more than 40 disciplines and more than 75 minors. In every program, at every location, SCAD emphasizes learning through individual attention in a positively oriented university environment. Students are guided by professors with exceptional credentials and master the same advanced technologies and instruments they will soon be using in the industry as professionals. SCAD is one university — and five unique environments: SCAD Atlanta, SCAD Hong Kong, SCAD Lacoste, SCAD Savannah and SCAD eLearning. You don’t have to pick just one; you can transition seamlessly among all of the university’s locations.
SCAD enrolls approximately 15,000 undergraduate and graduate students from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. The innovative SCAD curriculum is enhanced by advanced professional-level technology, equipment and learning resources, as well as opportunities for internships, professional certifications and collaborative projects with corporate partners. In every program, at every location, SCAD emphasizes learning through individual attention in a positively oriented university environment.
Career preparation is the foundation of SCAD, as evidenced by the university's stellar alumni employment rate: 99% of Spring 2018 alumni were either employed, seeking further education, or both within 10 months of graduation. And 92% of those alumni are working in a creative field. These extraordinary numbers are a testament to our talented and ambitious students and they speak volumes about the quality of a SCAD education.
