Stevenson University is the third-largest private university in Maryland and a national leader in career education, offering 28 career-focused undergraduate degrees, including Nursing, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration, as well as six pre-professional programs for Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Veterinary Medicine
The University is a national leader in NCAA Division III athletics, offering 27 sports, including men’s lacrosse, which captured the DIII national title in 2013. Stevenson also offers football, women's beach volleyball and men’s and women's ice hockey.
Stevenson is the only university in the nation to offer Career Architecture(SM), a process that helps students discover their core values and strengths, align them with their major selection and career goals, and design a strategic plan for their post-college career success. On average, 93 percent of Stevenson graduates are either working and/or attending graduate school within six months of graduation.
Since 2000, Stevenson has grown from nearly 1,700 full-time undergraduates to more than 3,200 today. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 13:1, students still receive the personal attention and mentoring that enables them to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
University facilities include a 35,000-square-foot gymnasium, a 3,500-seat stadium, residences for 2,000 students and three fitness centers. In 2016, Stevenson will open a new 200,000-square-foot Academic Center with state-of-the-art facilities for its School of the Sciences, School of Design and new School of Health Professions.
