Millikin University (Decatur, IL) has a long-standing history of academic excellence. When James Millikin founded the university in 1901, his theory-practice approach to education was unique. Today, Millikin takes this idea a step further by introducing "performance learning" - a unique approach to higher education that builds the confidence to succeed after graduation. As a result, it is no surprise that Millikin students have a history of success after graduation. Last year, 97% of Millikin graduates gained employment or entry into graduate/professional school within six months of graduation.

Millikin, a private, independent, four-year university, is home to approximately 2,200 students in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and master's degree programs. The University has four colleges and schools including, the College of Arts and Sciences, The College of Fine Arts, the College of Professional Studies and the Tabor School of Business. Millikin offers 23 Big Blue NCAA Division III Athletic Teams, varsity and junior varsity sports and intramural teams.
