Millikin University (Decatur, IL) has a long-standing history of academic excellence. When James Millikin founded the university in 1901, his theory-practice approach to education was unique. Millikin, a private, independent, four-year university, is home to approximately 2,200 students in traditional and non-traditional undergraduate and master's degree programs. The University has four colleges and schools including, the College of Arts and Sciences, The College of Fine Arts, the College of Professional Studies and the Tabor School of Business. Millikin offers 23 Big Blue NCAA Division III Athletic Teams, varsity and junior varsity sports and intramural teams.
