Mount Mercy University is a private, Catholic college located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa – a thriving city of 140,000. Founded in 1928 by the Sisters of Mercy, the university is dedicated to academic excellence, compassionate service and community engagement. Our students, faculty and staff give more than 17,000 hours to service every year.
With nearly 1,900 students, Mount Mercy offers degrees in over 45 majors, 18 NAIA varsity athletic teams and 40+ clubs and organizations. Popular majors include Nursing, Business, Biology, Education and Criminal Justice.
