Start building rewards today!
It’s true. As a Superior Vision member you have access to a program that can help pay for college.
As the cost of college continues to rise faster than inflation and medical costs, Superior Vision (Superior) is helping families keep up by providing this benefit in arrangement with The College Tuition Benefit and the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards® Program.
What are Tuition Rewards?
Tuition Rewards is a unique rewards program, offered by employers, health insurers, financial institutions, and non-profits, to address American families’ number one financial concern — a college education for their children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Each Tuition Rewards Point represents a guaranteed minimum scholarship (discount) equivalent to one dollar, with a maximum discount of up to one year’s tuition, spread equally over 4 years of full-time undergraduate education. The number of Points redeemed determine the minimum, guaranteed tuition discount a student can receive at over 440 SAGE Scholars colleges and universities. The student may receive more — but cannot receive less.
Through Superior Vision you will automatically earn 2,000 Tuition Rewards Points annually for each year of coverage. You will also earn a 2,500 point bonus in year four.
How to Enroll
If you've received a Welcome to Tuition Rewards email with a link and a SAGE ID registration code, follow the steps in that email to quickly setup your account. If you have not received a welcome email, you can self-register at superior.collegetuitionbenefit.com.
Eligible students are students in your immediate or extended family (including great/grand relations, step, God and adopted children). Students must be enrolled by August 31st of the year that the student begins 12th grade.
Tuition Rewards are NOT awarded in cash. If all requirements have been met, and the student's Rewards were submitted within 10 days of application, you are guaranteeing that the student will be awarded scholarships, grants, or other awards at least equal to the amount of points submitted (1 point = $1, up to the college's stated maximum), divided equally over a projected four (4) years* of undergraduate education.
For example, a student with 20,000 points - having met the deadlines - would be guaranteed to receive no less than $5,000 in total scholarships, grants or other discounts, provided by the college or university, for each of the four years* he or she would attend. Should the student qualify for more than is guaranteed by the Tuition Rewards, the student will receive the higher amount but cannot receive less.
The financial aid award letter may not specifically identify "Tuition Rewards". Colleges reserve the right to privately label Tuition Rewards Points as their own award. As long as the college award equals or exceeds the student's submitted Tuition Rewards Points the college has met its obligation.
* can be divided equally over five (5) years if student is enrolled in a co-op program.
