With a 15:1 student-faculty ratio, RMU classes are small; personal attention is the rule. 82% of RMU students complete at least one internship before they graduate, and most internships are paid. Approximately 83% of undergraduate students receive financial aid.

In addition to business, RMU’s 60 undergraduate programs and 20 graduate programs focus on communication, information systems, engineering, mathematics, science, education, social sciences, nursing, and pre-med. RMU has established innovative programs in actuarial science, nuclear medicine and manufacturing engineering.

In 1963, RMU moved from downtown Pittsburgh by acquiring Pine Hill Manor, the estate of Oliver Kaufmann, providing students with a vibrant, attractive residential campus community for living and learning. RMU boasts the only two NCAA Division I ice hockey programs in Pittsburgh. The university’s 16 NCAA Division I sports teams are very competitive and help round out a traditional campus experience.
