The Minneapolis College of Art and Design invites you to visit during Minnesota Private College Week (MPCW) in June. These scheduled college information sessions are for prospective undergraduate students interested in the bachelor of fine arts or bachelor of science degree programs at MCAD. During MPCW, you will have the opportunity to: Tour the campus, Learn about BFA application and admission requirements, including the portfolio, Learn about BS application and admission requirements, Learn about scholarships and financial aid opportunities. Registration Is Required- Choose the day and time (morning or afternoon) you would like to attend and register in one of the following ways: 1. Register online for MCAD only, 2. Register online for multiple colleges at MPCW (registration opens April 1), 3. Call MCAD Admissions at 612.874.3760 or 1.800.874.MCAD, ext. 1 or email admissions@mcad.edu between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Admissions events at MCAD are always free and open to the public.

Have your portfolio reviewed by more than thirty colleges and universities from around the United States and Canada! National Portfolio Days are free educational events for young artists held at host colleges throughout the United States and Canada from late August through January each year. These events are opportunities to have college representatives review your artwork, offer critiques, and share information about their schools. These events are not an exam or a competition-representatives are interested in your progress and in providing helpful information about this next important step in your development as an artist.
