The University is a national leader in NCAA Division III athletics, offering 28 sports, including men’s lacrosse, which captured the DIII national title in 2013. Stevenson also offers football, women's beach volleyball, men’s and women's ice hockey, and women's acrobatics and tumbling. Opening in phases beginning Fall 2022, Owings Mills East, the University's athletic hub, will be home to a track and field complex, a turf field for women's field hockey, baseball and softball diamonds, and Bermuda grass fields for both soccer teams.

With a student-to-faculty ratio of 15:1, students still receive the personal attention and mentoring that enables them to thrive both in and out of the classroom. For four years, Stevenson has been rated a Best Value School by U.S. News & World Report.

The 200,000-square-foot Manning Academic Center houses nursing simulation labs, state-of-the-art science labs, fashion studios, and a dining facility. The Philip A.
