At Post University, we're constantly challenging the way the world looks at education. We're a traditional New England university in Waterbury, Connecticut. For more than 125 years, we've stayed ahead of the learning curve - so you can, too. Our innovative approach to education means that our academic programs reflect today’s fastest growing industries. For undergraduates on campus, we offer 50 majors, minors and concentrations.
We know that big ideas come from small classrooms: Our student-to-teacher ratio is 11:1. That means you'll learn in a highly interactive environment where your professors know you on a first-name basis. And, our professors aren’t just teachers. They’re experts in their fields who bring years of real-world experience to the classroom.
On main campus, you'll find plenty of ways to get involved, like our 20 NCAA Division II sports and a variety of club sports. Our challenging academic honors program helps students grow personally and professionally. And, our close-knit culture offers a unique experience you won't find anywhere else.
When you learn at Post University, you'll get one-on-one, personalized attention and guidance to help you make the most of your education - from the first day of classes and long after graduation.
Since our founding in 1890, Post University has experienced many changes. Our class environment has evolved from typewriters to laptops and expanded far beyond our traditional campus — to home offices, living room sofas and even airplane seats. Throughout the years, one thing has persisted: our purpose, to deliver an exceptional educational experience that provides an extraordinary level of personal support. At Post University, we have always understood the importance of being there for our students every step of the way. Every enhancement and expansion to our systems has been driven by their needs — with the goal of creating a successful outcome for each and every student, no matter how they earn their degree. Today, Post University students can take courses entirely online or through a hybrid on-campus and online format. They can also learn on our traditional New England campus and experience our dynamic culture and tight-knit community while enjoying our residential experience, commuting from home, or learning during evening and weekends.
Our mission is to provide students with the knowledge, personal skills and experiences required to become leaders in their chosen careers. We prepare students to become confident, competent, and competitive participants in the global marketplace.
