Students can attend Benedictine's main campus, in Lisle, IL (25 miles west of downtown Chicago), which offers 20 NCAA Division III varsity sports programs, or the Mesa branch campus - the first Catholic university in Arizona. The Mesa branch campus has a growing athletics program and currently competes in men’s and women’s cross country, golf, tennis and volleyball and in 2015 will compete in men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s soccer.
At the Lisle campus, students can choose from 55 undergraduate majors. Continuing to innovate, Benedictine recently added programs in Business Analytics and Exercise Sports Studies. Popular areas of concentration include Health Science, Psychology and Biology. The average class size is 18 and no classes are taught by graduate assistants. Students can study overseas at partner institutions in Vietnam and China.
Benedictine has won awards and accolades for diversity, environmental sustainability (using renewable resources to repurpose buildings), campus affordability and safety. To ensure campus religious diversity while remaining faithful to the University's Catholic heritage, Benedictine offers interfaith programs in an atmosphere of inclusion.
