Its stated purpose was, and is, to provide “for the higher education of men and women under auspices distinctly Christian and spiritual.” In 1958 its name was changed to William Jennings Bryan College and in 1993 was shortened to Bryan College.

Educating students to become servants of Christ to make a difference in today’s world.

Located in Dayton, Tenn., Bryan College is a nationally-ranked Christian liberal arts school where earning your education goes deeper than gathering information or passing an exam. At Bryan, we offer our students top academic professors who encourage students to think critically and creatively about the world around them.

Our courses are taught by faculty who foster a love of learning and encourage students in faith through prayer and wisdom. We serve approximately 1,500 students with 49 unique fields of study. Some of our most popular majors are business, biology, Christian ministry, education, and exercise and health sciences (EHS). The first program of its kind in the nation, The Bryan Difference Maker, pays for your master’s degree when you earn your bachelor’s degree.

Through local and international service opportunities, active student organizations and weekly chapel services, students are given the opportunity to put their faith into action and make a difference on campus and in the community. With a caring support system from our faculty and staff, we are dedicated to helping you discover your gifts and utilizing them to find your calling in life.
