Founded in 1856 by the Lutheran Church, Newberry College is a private liberal arts college with a diverse student population from 28 states and 23 countries. With an enrollment of 1,200 students, our small class sizes help you form high-impact connections with your professors that will make a difference in your life in school and after graduation.
The Newberry Wolves compete in 20 NCAA Division II sports, along with cheerleading and dance. We also offer a robust campus recreation program, intramural competition and 40-plus clubs and organizations to help you get involved on campus.
