School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Joins Tuition Rewards

School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, educating artists since 1876, has joined the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards Private College and University Enrollment Consortium.

The SMFA program is designed by artists for artists. Self-motivated and passionate students shape their own artistic process. Students choose from an expansive range of studio art courses in 13 areas of study. There are no required courses. Students are expected to chart their own education, working with accessible, encouraging faculty to develop their own voice, seeking help when needed.

SMFA's approach brings unusual freedom and bears extraordinary fruit: Self-confident artists with a fearless curiosity that fosters groundbreaking art. Through a partnership with Tufts University that allows students to engage in academic pursuits, SMFA provides a uniquely captivating and meaningful education for the 21st century.

27 members of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design now participate in Tuition Rewards; nine member colleges are exclusively devoted to the arts. 12 Massachusetts colleges participate in Tuition Rewards.
