Guilford College Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

View College Profile
Guilford College, committed to the core values of its Quaker heritage – acceptance, civility, community, diversity, equality, integrity, justice and tolerance, has become the 16th North Carolina member of the SAGE Tuition Rewards Private College & University Enrollment Consortium.

One of the most diverse small liberal arts colleges in the nation, Guilford offers a writing-intensive curriculum that challenges students to apply ethics and knowledge to real-life issues, fostering self-expression and communication skills. With a 14:1 student-faculty ratio and 67% of classes with fewer than 20 students, Guilford offers its 1,800 undergraduates an engaged learning experience with a choice of 36 majors and 54 minors.

Founded in 1837, Guilford offers four transformative civic engagement and leadership studies programs. The school's 300-acre wooded campus is located in suburban Greensboro; the city's metropolitan population of 1.6 million allows for nearby internships and work opportunities.

Dedicated to environmental sustainability, Guilford boasts the largest collection of solar panels for heating water on any college campus in the nation. Students can work on a small campus farm that grows produce for the dining hall. Students have a choice to participate in 40 clubs and organizations; 18 varsity teams participate in the NCAA Division III Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Cited in The Princeton Review's "The Best 381 Colleges", Guilford is the 20th school cited in "Colleges That Change Lives" to participate in SAGE Tuition Rewards.
