DePauw University, ranked 8th in the nation for most Fulbright Scholar recipients and a national leader in immersive learning opportunities, has joined the SAGE Tuition Rewards program. 19 Indiana private colleges now participate in the SAGE Enrollment Consortium.

Founded in 1837, DePauw (Greencastle, IN) believes in exposing students to a global education. The University ranks 4th in the nation for study-abroad opportunities. Learning to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds, DePauw students build their own journey, one extraordinary experience at a time.

All of 2,225 undergraduates must live on campus, whether in a traditional residence hall, an on-campus apartment or in a Greek House (25 fraternities and sororities). The 655-acre campus includes an astronomical observatory and a nature park where students can hike 10 miles of trails, perform ecological research or catch a show in an outdoor amphitheater. The Nature Park is also home to the Prindle Institute for Ethics.

The Judson and Joyce Green Center for the Performing Arts offers students 29 soundproof practice rooms, teaching studios for large and small ensembles, multiple recording studios, a music library, a cafe, an organ and three performing venues; the Kresge Auditorium seats 1,400.

Affiliated with the United Methodist Church, DePauw offers a 4-1-4-based academic calendar with a four-week winter term for short internships, trips abroad or on-campus coursework. The student-faculty ratio is 9:1. All classes have 35 or less students; 89% of classes have 25 or fewer students. Of incoming freshmen, 81% graduate in four years – the second-best percentage among Indiana’s 67 public and private four-year colleges.
