Aurora University Joins SAGE Tuition Rewards

View College Profile
Aurora University, one of Illinois’ most affordable private colleges, has joined the SAGE Tuition Rewards Enrollment Consortium. 26 Illinois private colleges and universities now participate in the largest U.S. private college consortium.

Located in the state’s second-largest city, 37 miles west of Chicago, Aurora is an expanding university that last fall opened a $40 million sports complex, Spartan Athletic Park, to serve the school’s 24 NCAA Division III varsity teams, including football.

Nestled in a residential neighborhood, AU attracts 3,800 undergraduate students from as far away as Alaska, California, Florida and Hawaii. Students can choose from over 40 majors, including business, criminal justice, education, nursing, software engineering and social work. It’s feasible to double-major and still graduate in four years. The student-faculty ratio of 17:1 ensures personal attention and individualized instruction. Students work with dedicated advisors throughout their college experience to explore career options and ensure that graduation remains in sight.

Aurora’s main campus is home to the Schingoethe Center for Native American Cultures, a museum and art gallery focused on Native American arts. AU’s George Williams College campus, 70 miles north along the shores of Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, allows students to pursue such majors as education, environmental management and parks and recreation.

AU offers students participation opportunities in more than 60 clubs, including literary, musical, professional, religious, social and service organizations. 98% of full-time undergraduates receive financial aid.
