Friends University Joins SAGE Tuition RewardsFriends University, a non-denominational Christian university of Quaker heritage founded in 1898, has become the 7th Kansas private college to join the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program.

A community that fosters personal growth and personal achievement, Friends offers its 1,150 undergraduates a choice of more than 60 bachelor's degree programs, including unique programs from ballet to conservation science to cybersecurity to musical theatre to zoo science. Accounting, business, elementary education, psychology and physical education and coaching are popular.

Highly-ranked nationally for "best college dorms", the University has invested $50 million towards campus facilities, landscaping and state-of-the-art technology over the past 12 years. The Davis Administration Building, built in Romanesque Revival style, is best known for its 148-foot clock tower.

Student activities on the 55-acre Wichita campus include the Singing Quakers, a nationally-acclaimed vocal group that has performed at The White House and Carnegie Hall. Half of the student body is comprised of athletes who participate in 19 NAIA Division II sports teams. Friends boasts Wichita's only college football team.

Friends is among the 58 SAGE member schools affiliated with the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
