Saint Augustine’s University Joins Tuition Rewards

Founded in 1867 by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina to make education available to newly-freed slaves, SAU has developed more than a third of all African-American priests in the Episcopal Church.
SAU's 105-acre campus is just minutes from Downtown Raleigh, the state capital. Students can choose from 20+ majors and 15+ minors. Among the most popular are business; kinesiology and exercise science; non-profit and public management; sociology; and, sports and fitness management. The university recently announced a partnership with Google and the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) to prepare students for future career opportunities.
SAU was the first HBCU to own an on-campus commercial radio and TV station. The University's 12 varsity sports teams compete in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association. USA Cycling recognized SAU's team at the "Best New Club of 2020".
