North Greenville University Joins SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards

By SAGE Scholars — March 16, 2021

North Greenville University, offering more than 2,500 undergraduate, online, and graduate students not only strong academic programs, but also opportunities for spiritual growth, cultural enrichment, and hands-on service that you would expect from a Christian university, has become the 5th South Carolina private college to participate in the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program.

Founded in 1892, NGU is located in Tigerville in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 18 miles north of Greenville, SC, the state's largest metropolitan area. The campus setting provides a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The average class size is 14, allowing faculty members to be "disciples" with personal connections to their students.

Ranked as one of the most conservative U.S. colleges by Niche (20th out of 1,674), NGU also is highly-rated for its sports management program (23rd out of 413). The University offers 20 NCAA Division II varsity sports teams. Students have the choice more than 40 majors, with liberal arts and humanities, business and Foods, Nutrition, and Wellness Studies among the most popular.

Affiliated with the Southern Baptist church, NGU requires attendance at twice weekly chapel services. 61 members of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities now participate in Tuition Rewards.
