High Point University Joins SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards

By SAGE Scholars — September 3, 2021

High Point University, whose campus "Innovators in Residence" have included such entrepreneurial luminaries as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, has joined the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program. 20 North Carolina colleges and 46 Methodist colleges now participate in the largest U.S. private college enrollment consortium.

Focused on developing life skills and fun, High Point stresses career shadowing opportunities, experiential learning, internships, service learning, study-abroad experiences, time management, and undergraduate research alongside faculty members, who are known for "great industry knowledge". 97% of HPU graduates are employed or continuing their education within 6 months of graduation.

In recent years, the University has invested $2 billion dollars in academic programs and student life facilities. Niche currently ranks the dorms as the third-best on a U.S. campus (out of 1,419 colleges). The campus, which includes an arboretum and 25 botanical gardens, attracts nearly 80% of students from out-of-state - all 50 states and nearly 50 countries. Communications, business, exercise sciences and kinesiology, and biology are the most popular majors.

High Point is the 77th participating private college to be listed in The Princeton Review's 2021 edition of "The Best 386 Colleges".

High Point University

High Point University is The Premier Life Skills University. Having radically transformed the campus since 2005 under the leadership of President Nido R. Qubein, HPU knows transformation well. That's why leaders commit to preparing students for the world as it's going to be, not as it is.

HPU is a values-based intuition that arms students with the life skills employers want. It's no wonder 97% of our graduates are employed or continuing their education within 6 months of graduation.

At HPU, every student receives an extraordinary education in an inspiring environment with caring people. By focusing holistically on transformational education, HPU attracts students from all 50 states and nearly 50 countries.

A $2 billion investment in academic programs and student life facilities proves HPU’s commitment to transformation. The university’s call to action is simple and profound: Choose to be extraordinary!
