Laguna College of Art + Design Joins SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards

By SAGE Scholars — April 13, 2022

Laguna College of Art + Design, preparing individuals for careers as creative artists and designers in a culturally and ethnically diverse world, has joined the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards program -- the 14th participating college to specialize exclusively in the arts.

Home to 700+ student artists, LCAD offers 11 undergraduate majors, nine minors, three graduate degree programs, and a post-baccalaureate program, utilizing seven sites throughout Laguna Canyon and Laguna Beach -- plus study-abroad locations in Florence, Italy and Breda, The Netherlands.

Visual arts are the primary focus, with game art, animation, illustration and graphic design + digital media the most popular majors. Student internships are available with the likes of Nike, Blizzard, VANS, Hurley, or the Cartoon Network.

With more than 20,000 acres of protected wilderness, Laguna Beach attracts backpackers, bikers, bird watchers, hikers, and landscape painters to its dramatic cliffs, verdant hills and marine sanctuaries. The town is famed for its world-class artists, festivals, art galleries, and beaches. LCAD offers no varsity sports; instead, students can surf the world-class waves of Trestles, skate in local parks or ride white circle to double-black-diamond mountain bike trails.

LCAD is the 12th California private college to participate in Tuition Rewards.
