Warner University Joins SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards

By SAGE Scholars — June 29, 2022

Warner University, where President David Hoag and his wife have hosted more than 3,500 students in their home in recent years, has become the 19th Florida university / college to participate in SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards.

Founded in Central Florida in 1968, Warner is home to 800+ undergraduates on a 300-acre campus in Lake Wales, an hour’s drive from Orlando or Tampa. Offering associates, bachelors and master’s degrees, Warner attracts one of The South’s most diverse student bodies, from 24 states and 20 countries. The school’s affordability is an attraction.

79% of undergraduates participate in one of 19 NAIA varsity sports. This summer, the University is installing a stadium turf field that can be used for football, women’s flag football, lacrosse and soccer. Musically-inclined Warner students can choose from five different band organizations (concert, jazz, marching, pep or worship) or the university choir.

Warner offers 40+ majors. It is one of only three Florida universities to offer an agricultural students major (the state’s 2nd-largest industry) that requires 500 internship hours. The exercise sports major has been nationally ranked. A recent class was ranked #3 — in percentage of employed graduates — among the 30 members of the Independent Colleges & Universities of Florida (ICUF).

Warner is the 66th affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities to participate in SAGE Scholars.
