Benedictine University Joins Tuition Rewards

Benedictine University, one of the nation's fastest-growing colleges, has become the 22nd Illinois member of the SAGE Tuition Rewards Private College & University Enrollment Consortium. 78 Catholic colleges now participate in Tuition Rewards.

From 2002 to 2012, Benedictine's enrollment grew from 2,809 students to 6,516 - the No. 1 growth rate among the nation's private, non-profit doctorate-granting institutions. In fall, 2013, the school launched an undergraduate campus in Mesa, becoming the first four-year Catholic university in Arizona.

Benedictine's main campus, in Lisle, IL (25 miles west of downtown Chicago), offers 20 NCAA Division 3 varsity sports programs; the Mesa campus offers five sports now, with men's and women's soccer and basketball teams scheduled to start in 2015.

Benedictine welcomed 781 new students to the three campuses in August. Students have a choice of 55 undergraduate majors. The school continues to innovate, recently adding programs in business analytics and exercise sports. The average class size is 19; no classes are taught by graduate assistants. Undergraduates can study overseas in Vietnam and China. Currently under construction in Lisle is the 125,000 square foot Daniel L. Goodwin Hall of Business, scheduled to open in fall 2015.
