Quincy University (Quincy, IL) Joins Tuition Rewards

Dec. 9, 2008 - Quincy University (Quincy, IL), a dynamic community of 1,300 students located within walking distance of the Mississippi River's scenic bluffs, is the newest member of Tuition Rewards. Founded in 1860 by Franciscan Friars, QU's heritage of respect for all individuals and their unique gifts is the heart of University life.

QU offers more than 30 undergraduate majors and four graduate programs. Unique majors such as Aviation, Communication and Music Production, Sign Language Interpreter Training and Criminal Justice add to a wide array of opportunities. Quincy does not use teaching assistants. A 13:1 student/faculty ratio ensures quality attention from professors. Small classes, close student/faculty relationships and an extensive internship program prepare students for their chosen fields.

QU offers approximately 90 semester-long programs in 29 different countries, including long-standing relationships with Loyola University Rome Center and Regent's College in London; approximately 15 summer programs; and, three short-term faculty-led programs, including the Assisi experience, the Ecology of the Galapagos and the Foundations of English Common Law.

QU's numerous opportunities for leadership and service outside the classroom encourage students to take an active role in society. NCAA Division II sports, intramurals, a state of the art health & fitness center, and 40+ campus organizations are part of an active campus. Quincy University has a reputation as one of the most affordable private colleges in the Midwest.
