Allegheny - founded in 1815 and the 32nd oldest in the nation - is a national liberal arts college where 2,100 students with unusual combinations of interests, skills and talents excel. Our average class size is 11. There are zero teaching assistants. You choose both a major and a minor – and complete a senior research project that you select.

The rest of the day is build you own adventure, with multiple session repeating throughout the day. Session topics include applications and financial aid 101, campus tours, Allegheny academics, student research, athletics, and even sessions about being a parent in the college search. 

As a special bonus, our writing consultants will be available throughout the day to meet with students who want feedback on their college essays. Just bring a copy of your essay (in any stage of the process) with you to the event.
