Malone College has grown from the dreams and labors of an energetic Friends couple, Walter and Emma Malone. Malone continues its commitment to educational experience based on Biblical faith. This does not imply that the Bible is used as a textbook in every class. Nor does it imply that Malone courses lack essential ingredients that would be found in comparable courses at other institutions. It does imply that Malone is committed to the liberal arts with emphasis upon communicative, investigative and interpretive skills in developing the whole person, physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally.

Malone's 2300 students have opportunity through this type of learning to know and understand themselves and the world around them. And they are capable of articulating this knowledge and understanding to others.

About Malone University

Malone University is a place where students explore what God has in store for their futures. Regardless of where a student stands with questions of faith, we believe God wants to work in students through their classroom experiences, activities, athletics, relationships, residence life, and spiritual life to draw them to Christ's purposes. We support students as they explore and develop their beliefs. We prepare students not only for jobs, but life. In the workplace and beyond, talent and skills matter, but it also is our beliefs, attitudes, and values that turn conviction into action and matter most.

Mission Statement

The mission of Malone University is to provide students with an education based on biblical faith in order to develop men and women in intellectual maturity, wisdom, and Christian faith who are committed to serving the church, community, and world.
