Tusculum University, founded in 1794, is the first college in the state of Tennessee and the oldest coeducational institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Tusculum provides a liberal arts education in a Judeo-Christian and civic arts environment with pathways for career preparation, personal development, and civic engagement.

Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Tusculum offers residential programs as well as Adult and Online Studies programs for non-traditional learners.
Tusculum's unique Engaged Semester schedule enables you to pioneer your path to success. Classes meet twice weekly, leaving Wednesday open for civic involvement, service learning, and special programming. You will have opportunities to collaborate with classmates and professors, explore and test theories in a lab and even pursue your studies across the globe
