The University of St. Francis (Joliet, IL) is a comprehensive Catholic, Franciscan university offering undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. USF is situated on 24 acres in a historic residential area less than an hour from Chicago. Opportunities for cultural, educational and entertainment activities are extensive.

St. Francis features 100% "smart" classrooms, wired residence halls and wi-fi areas throughout.  The 3,400 students have a choice of 39 majors. The Duns Scotus Honors program provides academically-talented students an enriched academic experience. Students can pursue undergraduate research or pursue international study abroad in England, France, Italy, Bolivia and elsewhere. Co-curricular opportunities include campus radio & TV stations, school newspaper, chorus, theatre, student government, intramurals and a nationally ranked "Mock Trial" Debate Team!

USF's main campus is located at 500 Wilcox Street in Joliet, Illinois. It is located about 35 miles (56 km) southwest of Chicago in a residential neighborhood and serves 1,300 students.
