Situated on 156 acres -- 86 acres of campus and 70 acres of athletic fields -- Franklin College is a residential four-year undergraduate liberal arts institution 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Students enjoy easy access to the resources offered by a large city -- and the charm and small-town atmosphere of Franklin (population 20,000).

Founded in 1834, Franklin College offers 50 academic majors and 37 minors to its 1.014 undergraduate students. The school maintains an average class size of 15 and a 50-50 ratio between male and female students. The college was the first institution of higher education in Indiana to admit women. Approximately 97% of students receive some type of financial assistance.
