APU features about 50 clubs and organizations and 19 music ensembles. Music groups require an audition and perform at local churches as well as state and national orchestral and symphonic events. The Artist Certificate program offers a conservatory-style experience to the School of Music's highest-performing musicians. Fourteen APU athletes have competed in the Olympics.
