St. Francis College has a long tradition of nurturing both athletes & scholars. The Terriers compete in 21 NCAA Division I athletic teams. The men’s soccer team has won multiple Northeast Conference Championships. The men’s golf team was recently recognized as earning the highest average GPA of all its NCAA Division I counterparts.
Calling upon its rich Franciscan heritage, St. Francis College is committed to values of hospitality & inclusion. The student body reflects every religious tradition. Its cultural & ethnic diversity reflects NYC’s diversity. The College’s generous need-based & merit-based scholarships remove financial barriers for many students, including those who are the first in their families to pursue higher education.
Currently, over 100+ scholarships are available to students. Over $21 million in aid is awarded each year — which makes this private college just as affordable as most public colleges (depending on the student’s specific financial need & academic record). SFC provides a learning environment where everyone belongs, so that all students can dream, serve, & achieve.
