From Juniata College

There is no better place on the planet than Juanita College for discovering your passions, developing your intellect and your heart, and becoming the author of your own powerful story.

Located in the scenic mountains of central Pennsylvania, our beautiful 110-acre main campus is supplemented by the 365-acre Baker-Henry Nature Preserve and Baker Peace Chapel. Our Environmental Studies Field Station on nearby Raystown Lake provides one of the nation’s most distinctive opportunities in environmental science.

Juniata believes in and embraces the liberal arts. We encourage diversity of thought. We are committed to being a welcoming community and an inclusive learning environment where students with different perspectives and backgrounds can contribute and thrive. We are a cohesive community of interesting, inquisitive, hard-working, and fun individuals who think deeply about who we are meant to be.

Founded in 1876, The College provides an engaging personalized educational experience. We provide two academic advisors for every student. 29% of students design their own major or program of emphasis. Students enjoy small classes; a challenging, flexible curriculum; collaborative faculty relationships; countless chances to learn by doing; and, a lively, friendly campus offering lots of activities (99 clubs and organizations). We offer study-abroad opportunities in over 25 foreign countries on six continents. 94% of students who graduate do so in four years or less.

Juniata is a proud member of Colleges That Change Lives. We provide generous financial aid. There is no application fee.
