Our Environmental Studies Field Station on nearby Raystown Lake provides one of the nation’s most distinctive opportunities in environmental science.

Juniata believes in and embraces the liberal arts. We encourage diversity of thought. We are committed to being a welcoming community and an inclusive learning environment where students with different perspectives and backgrounds can contribute and thrive. We are a cohesive community of interesting, inquisitive, hard-working, and fun individuals who think deeply about who we are meant to be.

Founded in 1876, The College provides an engaging personalized educational experience. We provide two academic advisors for every student. 29% of students design their own major or program of emphasis. Students enjoy small classes; a challenging, flexible curriculum; collaborative faculty relationships; countless chances to learn by doing; and, a lively, friendly campus offering lots of activities (99 clubs and organizations).
