From Lancaster Bible College

Founded in 1933, Lancaster Bible College provides an accredited university-level education for multiple careers with a focus on the Bible and a biblical worldview, Christ and Christian character. Guided by the leadership of college president Dr. Thomas L. Kiedis, LBC’s mission is to educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in the Church and society. In 2025, LBC introduced its new tagline, “Experience Different,” which highlights the college’s four key differentiators – biblical integration, authentic community, relational education and exceptional location. LBC offers on-campus and online programs at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels, and is consistently ranked in higher education categories locally, regionally and nationally.

Neighborhood

Lancaster Bible College's Eden Road location sits in a quieter residential area of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, offering a more peaceful campus environment while remaining close to the city's downtown district with its shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The surrounding neighborhood is primarily student-friendly with local cafes, pizza shops, and convenience stores within walking or short biking distance, making it easy to grab meals and essentials without a car. The area provides a good balance between campus life and access to Lancaster's growing food and entertainment scene, with the historic downtown just a short drive away for weekend outings.
