As the cost of college continues to rise faster than inflation and medical costs, AmeriHealth New Jersey is helping families keep up by providing this benefit in arrangement with The College Tuition Benefit and the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards® Program.
Through AmeriHealth New Jersey you will automatically earn 2,000 Tuition Rewards Points annually for each year of coverage. You will also earn a 2,500 point bonus in year four.
How to Enroll
- Visit amerihealthexpress.com to register from your existing IBX account
- Once logged in, select Health & Well-Being and then Value Added Services
- Look for College Tuition Benefit™ and follow the steps

What are Tuition Rewards?
Tuition Rewards is a unique rewards program, offered by employers, health insurers, financial institutions, and non-profits, to address American families’ number one financial concern — a college education for their children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Each Tuition Rewards Point represents a guaranteed minimum scholarship (discount) equivalent to one dollar, with a maximum discount of up to one year’s tuition, spread equally over 4 years of full-time undergraduate education. The number of Points redeemed determine the minimum, guaranteed tuition discount a student can receive at over 440 SAGE Scholars colleges and universities. The student may receive more — but cannot receive less.
Eligible Students
Eligible students include immediate and extended family members, such as great/grand relations, nieces, nephews, stepchildren, godchildren, and adopted children. Students must be enrolled by August 31st of the year that the student begins 12th grade.
