From Morris Brown College

Morris Brown College (Atlanta, GA), a small, private, liberal arts, four-year institution founded in 1881 by members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, is a historically black college situated on a 42-acre campus at the highest point of downtown Atlanta.

Morris Brown offers a baccalaureate degree for traditional students in Management, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MET) – with concentrations in business law, community management, hospitality management, music industry, small business management and sports management. For adult degree students returning to college, Morris Brown offers a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management and Leadership (OML).

Morris Brown College’s Herndon Stadium, designed to seat 15,000 spectators, was the field hockey venue during the 1996 Summer Olympics. The other Olympic legacy to Morris Brown is now the Ruth Hall Hodges Art Gallery, housing a collection of prominent African American artists.
