The university’s mission revolves around developing students who are spiritually grounded, academically prepared, and equipped to serve and lead in a variety of fields. With a history dating back to 1941, Emmaus University maintains a tradition of rigorous Bible study alongside professional training.

One of the defining features of Emmaus University is its unwavering commitment to biblical and theological teaching. Beyond the classroom, Emmaus University encourages community through extracurricular activities, chapel services, and small-group gatherings. Its campus life is designed to cultivate close-knit bonds, with events and outreach programs that bring students together and challenge them to serve the broader community. These opportunities help shape empathetic, service-oriented leaders who are prepared to make positive contributions, not only within faith communities but in society at large.

From scenic riverfront walks to diverse local eateries and festivals, the city complements the vibrant campus community at Emmaus University. This blend of academic excellence, spiritual growth, and supportive community makes Emmaus University an appealing choice for students seeking a Christ-centered college experience in Iowa.
